LINK Quick Release System

The body of the LINK Quick Release is made of durable and lightweight materials, the requirements of which are specifically designed for kite sports. The integrated ball bearing swivel minimizes friction and improves the comfort, control and durability of the control bar. The intuitive click-in mechanism of the chicken loop increases user-friendliness. The sliding mechanism for activating the Quick Release is fully functional in warm, cold, sandy and wet conditions.

Modular eyelet

The bar of the FUSION Control Bar can be switched from an automatic to a manual unscrewing function. To do this, remove the two metal pins in the center of the bar, on the rust-proof metal eyelet, using an Allen key. The advantages of depower lines without a line separator are: increased durability due to less abrasion and maximum freedom when controlling and depowering at the same time. We recommend this variant for technically complex big air tricks or board-offs with multiple turns.

INFINITY ball bearing swivel joint

Best freeride comfort thanks to the INFINITY system, which automatically unwinds the front lines after rotations or downloops by simply powering up the control bar. The process is supported by a ceramic ball bearing, which is integrated into the LINK Quick Release and ensures a smooth process. The abrasion of the depower lines is reduced to a minimum and the durability is increased.

Chicken Loop and Stick

The small Chicken Loop is standard on the FUSION Control Bar and is designed for hooked riding styles. Our intelligently designed stick is flexible and secures the Chicken Loop to the harness hook. It is tested in extreme temperatures and proven to prevent accidental unhooking. In addition, we offer our Freestyle Safety Ring and a larger loop for unhooked riding styles.

Designed with the utmost attention to user safety, our LINK Quick Release features a highly visible surface that is predominantly red, with complementary parts seamlessly integrated to minimize potential finger traps or sharp edges. The design ensures ease of use and minimizes the risk of accidents during sessions.

In strict accordance with our Bar Safety Guide and User Manual, our Quick Release mechanism must be manually deployed, giving users control over their safety. Rigorous testing procedures to ISO standards confirm the system’s performance under a range of conditions. Through a series of tests, including deployment without load, and loading under specific conditions in dry, wet, sandy, cold and freezing conditions, our LINK Quick Release System demonstrates its ability to deliver a quick and successful response when it is needed most.
